Position Summary

Adjunct faculty will be Christ-centered and academically qualified to teach undergraduate or graduate courses in biblical and theological studies, Christian ministry, and general education.   Adjunct faculty members play a vital role in delivering excellent instruction rooted in a biblical worldview, mentoring students in their academic and spiritual development, and advancing the mission of the college.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Northpoint University
• Teach assigned courses in accordance with the approved curriculum and institutional standards
• Facilitate meaningful classroom and/or online learning experiences that integrate academic excellence and biblical truth
• Prepare and submit syllabi, assignments, exams, and grading rubrics in accordance with academic policies
• Utilize Populi as the software platform for class instruction and management
• Maintain timely communication with students and respond to inquiries within 48 hours, preferably 24 hours
• Submit grades and required documentation by university deadlines
• Participate in faculty orientation and training sessions as requested
