About the Position
The IT Technical Process Analyst is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and documenting enterprise business processes and IT systems to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives, in alignment with all Company policies, procedures, values, key objectives and regulations. This role applies Lean Six Sigma principles, process management best practices, and data-driven analysis to support continuous improvement across business operations and technology platforms. This role partners closely with the Strategic Projects team, IT leadership, and technical stakeholders to identify process gaps, enhance system performance, and support strategic initiatives. Additionally, this role serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for system interoperability, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of technology solutions with ArchKey's operational and strategic goals.
Day in the Life
- Analyzes and evaluates business processes and IT systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Designs, documents, and maintains comprehensive process and system documentation, including workflows, SOPs, technical diagrams, and integration mappings.
- Collaborates with the Strategic Projects team and IT leadership to gather requirements, define future-state processes, and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for system interoperability, supporting integration strategies that enable scalable and efficient enterprise operations.
- Leads and facilitates process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Conducts audits and assessments of business processes and IT systems to ensure compliance with internal controls, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitors and reports on KPIs and performance metrics related to process efficiency, system reliability, and service delivery.
- Supports change management efforts by communicating process and system changes, developing training materials, and enabling adoption across impacted teams.
- Identifies and recommends automation and digital transformation opportunities to streamline workflows and maximize system utilization.
- Troubleshoots business process and system issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
- Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, IT leadership, and the Strategic Projects team to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Leverages data analysis and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights that support process optimization and technology decision-making.
- Consistently makes decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others.
- Utilizes LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient operations, processes, and activities.
- Promotes and models the Company mission, vision and values through exercising sound and ethical business practices, championing all elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and providing high quality services and programs as they relate to clients, subcontractors, co-workers, suppliers, and the public.
Minimum Qualifications
- Required Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in business process analysis, IT systems optimization, or a related analytical role.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement frameworks, including Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred).
- Experience working with enterprise IT systems and platforms, such as ERP, CRM, and workflow automation tools.
- Proficiency with process modeling and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Understanding of IT governance, compliance standards, and internal control frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience with system integration and interoperability in complex enterprise environments.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with IT leadership, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Expertise in process and system mapping, documentation, and optimization.
- Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities across business processes and IT systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Technical aptitude in enterprise systems, integration strategies, and automation technologies.
- Strong collaboration and facilitation skills to drive alignment across diverse teams and leadership levels.
- Project management experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies preferred.
- Advanced data analysis, reporting, and visualization skills preferred.
- Experience with organizational change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Hands-on involvement in automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Integration platform experience, including Dell Boomi or similar middleware solutions a plus.
- Tools & Technologies experience with:
- ERP Systems: SAP, Oracle, eCMS, or comparable enterprise platforms
- CRM Platforms: Salesforce or equivalent; Workflow & DevOps Tools: ServiceNow, Nintex, Azure DevOps (ADO), or similar
- Process Modeling: Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart
- Data & BI Tools: Power BI, advanced Excel
- Integration Platforms: Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or comparable middleware solutions
- Project Management Tools: Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent
