Overview
The successful candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic educator with a desire to join an interdisciplinary team of foundational science and clinician colleagues working to deliver an integrated curriculum utilizing learner-centered modalities. Duties will include classroom, large group and small group instruction, course administration (director/co-director), coordination of the pathology discipline horizontally and vertically, service on school committees and active scholarship in education or community-oriented research.

Responsibilities

• Develop, teach, and coordinate the sequencing and assessment of pathology/pathophysiology content with appropriate clinical context at the designated level of learner within various educational programs while adhering to all programmatic and institutional policies and procedures.
• Provide information and data to evaluate horizontal and vertical integration of pathology/pathophysiology and identify areas for improvement of integration (where applicable).
• Provide administrative and/or leadership support to courses/programs as assigned for the educational mission of the SOM.
• Participate in institutional and programmatic committees and subcommittees as assigned/needed for the educational mission.
• Provide mentorship for students in the academic and/or scholarship/research setting.
• Active scholarship in education or community-oriented research
