- Change Management Consultant - Contractor
Description
We are seeking a collaborative Senior / Principal Change Management Professional for a contract position. This role will partner on large-scale organizational and operational transformations across our Northern Ontario mining asset. In this role, you will work alongside site teams and cross-functional groups to champion the "people side of change". Consultant should have experience with a variety of change models but will primarily use the Kotter approach to change leadership; engaging a broad base of employees, build leadership capability, and driving measurable impact from the change strategy. This is not the project management of change role; consultant should be comfortable building relationships and creating opportunity in a mining setting.
You will collaborate directly with site personnel, frontline workforce teams, and executive sponsors to ensure change strategies are co-designed and tailored to the unique operational realities of remote and industrial mine sites.
Strategic Alignment & Collaborative Partnership:
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to design and drive overall organizational change management (OCM) strategies for site-level and corporate transformations.
- Work hand-in-hand with the team to build shared change capability and foster joint accountability.
- Co-create and roll out targeted interventions adapted for shift workers and site conditions.
- Co-establish and support Change Champion Networks at processing plants, pits, and underground sites to empower local peers.
Adoption & Value Realization:
- Partner to drive employee engagement at the front-line, supporting supervisor, superintendents and site HR to realize measurable impact of change.
- Partner with team to post-implementation sustainment strategies to embed new behaviors into everyday routines.
